Protection from UV light is fundamental for XP patients. Reduction of exposure to UV light can diminish the damage and number of cutaneous tumours. Patients with XP will follow periodic controls with the medical team for life: dermatology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, surgery, pathology, oncology, neurology, psychology, etc.
