Epidermolysis bullosa

Others

4.1. New-born and infant

In all cases, it is recommended to administer medication before performing techniques that are known to be painful (change of dressing, bath, performing analytics, etc.). In new-borns and/or infants who maintain the sucking reflex, breastfeeding, feeding bottle or the use of sucrose solutions with teats can help the mild pain during the cures.

It is recommended that during the bath and change of dressing are present at least two adults and, if possible, three or more, to assure an adequate subjection and offercuddles, caresses, songs and distraction.
