1.3. Mobile phones and tablets

As for cellular phones and tablets, limiting the classification to the two main types, we find VoiceOver (for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch of Apple) and TalkBack (present on devices with Android operating system), both integrated into the core of the operating systems, although in the case of Android the level of accessibility and functionality may vary depending on the brand of the device. On the other hand, with iOS being a closed system, accessibility is guaranteed for any phone model that uses this operating system.

The handling of these screen readers is simple (each product with its own particularities), but in a generic way we can say that when sliding a finger across the screen of the device in question, the screen reader will verbalize the icons that we go through, in such a way that to open the one that interests us we will tap twice quickly on the given element. As in the previous case, in the "Settings" section of each device, specifically in the "Accessibility" function, a quick guide is available for reference.
