2.1. Screen magnifiers

Depending on the acuity or visual field of each individual, a screen magnifier will be necessary or not. The function of this type of software is to enlarge the text that appears on the screen, change the contrast (white on black or vice versa), adjust the brightness, etc. Some may be accompanied by voice support.

As it is the case with screen readers, there are some screen magnifiers included in the operating systems, such as Zoom for Mac or Apple's iOS, which together with very specific vision accessibility features can make the device adapt to the actual needs of the user without requiring extra software.

Magic for Windows is paid, and it can be installed without problem if a screen magnifier is required for this operating system.
