#S4RMonth activity: How to navigate psychological care in neuromuscular conditions
Impact of neuromuscular diseases on education and working opportunities of patients and carers
The field of rare neuromuscular diseases houses many types of conditions, each with its own disease expression. One thing they all have in common is that being or caring for an individual with a neuromuscular condition is tough.
We are inviting Dr. Michela Guglieri and family therapist Irene Zschaeck Luzardo to share their thoughts on this, and have various global experts in the field of neuromuscular conditions and neuropsychology to hear their tips and tricks through each life cycle. Next to this, we are inviting you to join our research project that creates insight on the impact of neuromuscular conditions on work and learning opportunities.
How to join
Join us during the YouTube livestream on Friday February 26th at 14:00 CET. Please register here to receive the link! Send in your questions in advance at info@share4rare.org or ask them live in English or Spanish!
This activity is part of #S4RMonth where each week special attention is given to a specific rare disease field. This initiative is coordinated by the World Duchenne Organization in collaboration with the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre and Sant Joan de Déu Research Institute in Barcelona.
