• The eye is a complex organ in which the sense of sight resides.
• The presence of blue or greyish sclerae is a common finding in some subtypes of osteogenesis imperfecta.
• Other eye disorders that have been detected in OI patients include refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism), corneal thinning, keratoconus, cataracts and glaucoma.
