Coloured devices that absorb light to avoid glare or photophobia. There are also protectors for the sides of the glasses, or visors to prevent too much light from entering the eyes, which in certain pathologies is necessary to improve visual functionality. They are useful for the user to feel more comfortable in face of light, to improve the adaptation time to light and darkness, and to avoid glare. It is advisable to avoid shiny work surfaces or glossy paper in cases where there are problems related to glare.
