2. 1. Eversion of the Lower Eyelid

As a result of the eversion of the lower eyelid, a very typical feature of patients, children with KS may exhibit excessive tearing, which is usually not a significant issue. However, nocturnal lagophthalmos (inability to completely close the eyelids) occurs in many children with KS and may predispose them to corneal injuries
