User badges

Share4Rare badges recognise our users for their contributions to the strengthening, growth and cohesion of the platform. They appear on profiles, community questions and community answers to acknowledge the value of users sharing their time and knowledge with the rest of the community.

How can I get the badges?

First of all, if you haven't done so already, register!. Badges are available for registered users in gratitude for their collaboration.

Once you are registered and validated, you will be able to ask, answer, follow and rate questions in the community. Most badges will be awarded to you based on your metrics on those parameters. For instance, take a look at the participant badge.

New	Awarded for having asked one question to the community
Junior	Awarded for having asked more than five questions to the community
Senior	Awarded for having asked more than ten questions to the community
Expert	Awarded for having asked more than twenty five questions to the community
Master	Awarded for having asked more than fifty questions to the community
Guru	Awarded for having asked more than one hundred questions to the community

Profile badges

Profile badges help identify some key user roles.

Validated users have been verified by the Share4Rare consortium and have full access to the functionalities of the platform.

Ambassadors are users with advanced knowledge of their disease.

Staff is, well, the consortium staff. The people who keep the platform working.

Participation badges

Participation badges award the activity of users in the community and in research. The more active and helpful a user is, the better badges they will get.
